This intricate wildlife illustration features a hedgehog within the foliage. The hedgehog population in the UK has declined by up to 75% since 2000. I wanted to share this portrait to highlight these issues and share the beauty of this prickly creature.
50p from each print will be donated to the HART wildlife rescue.
HART Wildlife Rescue is a UK registered charity (#1066760) operating a wildlife hospital in Alton, North East Hampshire, providing a rescue, treatment and rehabilitation service for wildlife from all over Hampshire and surrounding counties. HART also gives professional advice to vets, the RSPCA and members of the public from all over the country, as well as providing talks and work experience opportunities for students.
Created using pastel pencils, this piece highlights the declining population and importance of the hedgehog.
This 250gsm print is made using 100% genuine de-inked post consumer waste and FSC certified.
Each print is 148 X 148mm and comes in a satin finish. All prints are signed and numbered.
