Hope was born and raised in Hampshire, UK where her love for wildlife and art started during childhood. As a child, she was constantly creating and making, whether that be drawing people from her favourite films, sculpting little clay animals or creating her own stories. Starting with her love for dogs, her discovery into the world of wildlife later branched into her studies during college where she studied fine art and biology. 

 

Although her love for art started at a young age, she didn’t truly start drawing animals until the end of 2020 during the pandemic. Sadly, Hope lost her beloved dog Harmony which gave her the incentive to start drawing people’s pets.

 

Her very first commission was of Chevy, a show horse that kick started her career. She spent the following years honing her skill, learning, practicing, and building an online community of collectors and artists who connected with her and her art.

 

Art became an anchor for Hope due to her health. Living with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome among other conditions led to a very limiting amount of careers she could choose. Being able to express herself through her love for art has made life fulfilling, her dedication and motivation to work hard reflects into her artwork.

 

Today, Hope works primarily with Pastels, creating one-of-a-kind artworks. Her portraits explore themes of extinction, endangered species, and a glimpse into the natural world. Through hyper-realism, she invites viewers into the world of nature where animals reign.
